CNC Machinist / Programmer

Miller Broach / Miller Production & Machining is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on and seeing a job through from start to finish. We are looking for someone who can help take new jobs from print to production, including programming, setup, prove-out, troubleshooting, and making sure the job is running correctly on the floor.
This is not a position where you will be stuck behind a desk all day. We need someone who enjoys working at the machine, solving problems, and helping turn new work into solid, repeatable production.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Program, set up, and prove out new CNC jobs
- Work with CNC mills and/or lathes
- Review prints, models, and customer requirements
- Help decide the best way to machine the part
- Select tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds
- Make offsets, edits, and process adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and fixture issues
- Work with Quality on first-piece approval
- Support operators once jobs are released to production
- Help improve cycle times, quality, and repeatability
- Take ownership of jobs and help get them running the right way
What We’re Looking For
- Experience programming and setting up CNC machines
- Strong CNC machining background
- Ability to read prints and understand tolerances
- Comfortable working hands-on at the machine
- Good understanding of tooling, fixturing, feeds, and speeds
- Ability to troubleshoot and make practical adjustments
- Willingness to work with operators, quality, and management
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- Someone who takes pride in doing the job right

Preferred Experience
- CNC milling and/or turning experience
- CNC programming experience
- CAD/CAM experience
- Fixture and tooling knowledge
- Prototype, low-volume, or production machining experience
- Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Makino, Brother, or similar CNC control experience
Pay
Pay is based on experience and ability. We are willing to pay for the right person who can program, set up, troubleshoot, and help get new jobs running successfully.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
