Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Take customer orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, accurately handling cash and credit transactions.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about drink options, and creating a lively atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed while tracking usage to minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Collaborate with team members during busy nights or events such as banquets or nightclub functions to deliver seamless service.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills by balancing multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Assist in catering events or large parties by serving beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing and cash handling.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service is essential.
- Experience in retail math or basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales calculations.
- Background in food industry roles such as food service or catering helps ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
- Prior experience working with brewing or beverage preparation adds value to your skill set.
