Prevalent Logistics is a growing Trucking company based out of Los Angeles, CA. We are now setting up operations in Houston, TX. This is a long term opportunity with growth potential for the right person.
We are looking for a full time Class A local driver, to pickup form Houston Airport, Houston Port and multiple local deliveries.
We offer Medical, Dental, Vision, paid holidays, vacation and sick pay after probational period.
Minimum requirements:
Applicant must be at least 25 years of age with at least two years verifiable driving experience.
Clean/insurable driving record with no more than two traffic violation convictions and no accidents within the last 2 years.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Duties:
Pull containers from LA/LB Ports, and deliver them locally within 45 miles radius, home every day, local work.
Professional, courteous, friendly, reliable.
Comply with all DOT and CHP regulations.
Perform pre-trip, in route, and post trip equipment inspections. Keep trucks clean and fueled.
Follow company procedures for documentation of pickups and deliveries.
Communicate with dispatch all delays, exceptions on cargo, waiting time, and mechanical issues.
Promptly report all accidents/incidents involving company equipment to management.
Perform other company duties as required.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
