Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating modern educational technology and differentiated instruction techniques.
- Deliver engaging lessons covering key mathematical concepts.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation and ongoing assessments.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment conducive to active participation and mutual respect.
- Collaborate with colleagues.
- Support students’ diverse learning needs by adapting lessons for different learning styles and working with students from various cultural backgrounds.
- Mentor students academically and personally, providing guidance on academic advising and tutoring sessions.
- Engage in professional development opportunities related to classroom management, educational compliance, and innovative teaching methods.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral incidents while ensuring compliance with educational regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education
- Proven classroom teaching experience at the middle school level with a strong background in math instruction.
- Expertise in core mathematical areas including algebra and geometry,
- Demonstrated ability to utilize learning technology effectively within the classroom environment.
- Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and adapting instruction accordingly.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with excellent communication skills for engaging students and collaborating with colleagues.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and curriculum implementation strategies aligned with educational standards.
- Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management techniques is advantageous.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth through research participation, instructional design refinement.
