Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional maintenance, repair, and technical support across residential foundation, waterproofing, and crawlspace systems. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing structural and moisture-related issues, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal performance of foundation and waterproofing systems.
This position combines hands-on technical work with customer interaction, offering an opportunity to apply your mechanical skills in a fast-paced environment while helping homeowners protect and improve their homes.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to foundations, crawlspaces, basement waterproofing systems, and structural components
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations including drainage systems, vapor barriers, supports, and related components
- Conduct field service visits to residential properties for inspections, service work, and warranty repairs
- Identify additional issues or improvement opportunities and clearly communicate recommended solutions to homeowners
- Read and interpret work orders, job scopes, and basic structural plans
- Repair or replace components using mechanical tools and construction techniques
- Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, materials used, and system conditions
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining findings, repairs, and recommendations clearly and professionally
- Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment
Qualifications
- Experience in construction, foundation repair, waterproofing, or related field preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in the field
- Ability to read basic diagrams, work orders, or job specifications
- Hands-on experience with tools, equipment, and general repair work
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work in crawlspaces, basements, and varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with homeowners
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time position with potential overtime during peak seasons
- Work performed primarily at residential job sites
- Travel within service area required (company vehicle provided)

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
