Position Overview
Halco is seeking a Commercial HVAC Installer to support our growing Commercial
MEP Installation team in the Finger Lakes area. This role is ideal for a dependable, self-
motivated technician with hands-on installation experience who is looking to grow within
a structured, team-oriented environment.
While this role supports commercial operations, some of the installation work may
include light commercial and residential systems depending on project demand. This
position offers a clear path for advancement within Halco’s installation and field
leadership tracks.
What You’ll Do
? Install and commission HVAC systems including furnaces, rooftop equipment, air
source heat pumps, VRF Systems, geothermal systems, boilers, and water
heaters
? Work alongside team members to complete installs efficiently and to Halco
quality standards
? Deliver a high level of customer experience on every project
? Maintain clean, organized job sites and company vehicles
? Follow all safety protocols and installation best practices
? Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers
What We’re Looking For
? 1–3 years of HVAC installation experience (required)
? Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools and equipment
? Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
? Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude
? Strong organizational and time management skills
? Valid NY State Driver’s License with a clean driving record
? Commitment to quality workmanship and continuous improvement
Compensation
? $30.00 – $45.00 per hour, based on experience
? Overtime opportunities available
