Lovett Inc. is seeking a General Manager of Service – Plumbing & Drain to lead one of the company's most important business units. This executive-level position is responsible for overseeing both the sales and operations of our Plumbing and Drain Service divisions, with responsibility for approximately $10 million in annual revenue.
This isn't a role for someone who simply maintains the status quo. We're looking for a strategic, results-driven leader who can develop people, improve processes, increase profitability, and build two high-performing service departments.

Compensation
- Base Salary: Approximately $150,000 annually
- Performance Incentive: Up to $50,000 annually based on achieving department revenue and performance goals

What You'll Do
As the General Manager of Service, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership for both our Plumbing and Drain Service divisions.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the overall performance of Plumbing and Drain operations with responsibility for approximately $10 million in annual revenue
- Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and market share
- Build, coach, mentor, and hold accountable the Plumbing Business Unit Manager, Drain Business Unit Manager, sales team, and support staff
- Drive sales performance while maintaining operational excellence and exceptional customer service
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), financial performance, and departmental productivity
- Develop annual business plans, budgets, forecasts, and growth initiatives
- Improve operational processes, efficiency, and technician utilization
- Partner with leadership to identify new business opportunities and service offerings
- Ensure consistent execution of company standards, safety policies, and customer experience expectations
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent across both departments
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership experience managing service operations, sales teams, or multiple business units
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated success growing revenue and profitability
- Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational metrics
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing leaders and teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Experience leading organizational change and driving continuous improvement
- Ability to make data-driven decisions while maintaining a customer-first mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in plumbing, drain, HVAC, restoration, mechanical services, or another field service industry
- Multi-location or multi-department management experience
- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service management software
- Strong understanding of service operations, technician performance metrics, and sales management
- Executive or senior leadership experience with P&L responsibility
