Position Summary
BMI is seeking an exceptional, strategic, and hands-on Director, Organizational Health & Employee Relations to shape employee experience, strengthen leadership capability, and build a workplace culture where people and the business thrive together.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility individual contributor role designed for a builder and change agent, someone who is energized by rolling up their sleeves, solving complex business challenges, and driving enterprise-wide influence through business impact rather than positional authority.
Far more than a traditional employee relations role, this leader will architect BMI's enterprise approach to organizational health by integrating proactive employee relations, leadership consulting, organizational diagnostics, workforce insights, and employment compliance into a cohesive strategy that enables business performance and sustainable global growth.
Working in close partnership with business leaders, HR Business Partners, Legal, and HR Operations, this role will help create the conditions where leaders and teams consistently perform at their best. By leveraging data, organizational insights, AI-enabled workforce intelligence, and practical business acumen. The Director will identify emerging risks, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and design scalable people practices that foster trust, accountability, and high-performing teams.
This leader believes the best employee relations strategy is building great leaders, healthy teams, and organizations where challenges are prevented through strong leadership rather than reactive intervention.

Key Responsibilities
Organizational Health and Culture Strategy
- Develop and execute BMI's enterprise Organizational Health strategy in close partnership with legal, business leaders and HR Business Partners.
- Drive proactive culture, engagement and leadership initiatives that directly support business priorities.
- Use workforce analytics and organizational diagnostics to identify risks before they escalate.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Legal and business leaders to improve organizational effectiveness across the enterprise.
Leadership Consulting and Executive Partnership
- Serve as a trusted, hands on advisor to HR partners, executives and business leaders navigating complex employee and organizational issues.
- Strengthen manager capability through direct coaching and practical, actionable tools in partnership with the leadership development team.
- Partner with business leaders to support reorganizations, change initiatives and leadership effectiveness for proactive solutions.
Organizational Risk and Compliance
- Lead enterprise employment compliance strategy across domestic and global operations.
- Build out compliance and updated policies and procedures, creating a global cohesive strategy that is compliant and easily maintained and understood by the organization.
- Partner closely with Legal to translate regulations into practical, business ready solutions.
- Develop governance, in true partnership with Legal and business leaders, that supports international growth while minimizing risk.
Employee Relations and Workplace Resolution
- Personally lead and partner with legal on complex investigations with fairness, integrity and discretion.
- Identify systemic themes and recommend enterprise improvements in partnership with Legal and business leaders.
Organizational Insights and Continuous Improvement
- Build dashboards and analytics that predict organizational risk and inform business decisions.
- Modernize processes using technology, automation and AI where appropriate.
Cross Functional Partnership and Influence
- Build strong, trusted partnerships across business leaders, HR Business Partners, Legal, Payroll, Compensation and Talent.
- Drive enterprise impact through influence, credibility and relationships rather than positional authority. This is an individual contributor role with significant organizational reach.
- Act as a hands on thought partner to business leaders, bringing energy, follow through and fresh thinking to every initiative.

- Develop a global compliance framework, in partnership with Legal, that supports international growth.
- Personally modernize investigation processes and organizational health dashboards.
