PACU / Post-Anesthesia Care Unit RN
Job Summary:
Provides care to patients recovering from anesthesia post-surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor vitals, consciousness, and pain.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
- Provide patient/family education and discharge instructions.
Requirements:
- RN license in state of assignment.
- BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred for pediatric PACU.
PACU, ICU, or ER experience preferred.
