Independent Contractor Home Health RN
Professional Home Health Care is hiring an Independent Contractor RN to case manage and make home visits in the Longmont / Boulder / Erie / Frederick / Firestone / Lafayette / Louisville areas. This position is a wonderful match for those nurses who are skilled at one-on-one client care, assessment, critical thinking, and patient teaching. Great opportunity for those who are able to self-manage, be dependable, good at time management, and able to meet the strict state and federal home health care rules.
We offer assistance (for a fee) in setting up your company if you have not already done so. We have a comprehensive training program (at no fee) for those new to home health care.
Full-time employee position with benefits and/or part-time, prn position also available at a lower rate if you prefer to be an employee.
Benefits for full-time:
- Weekly pay
- Competitive rates - $60 - $100 per visit. Most visits are 1/2 hour. Initial visits require more time. No limit from Professional Home Health Care on the number of visits you may do per week - giving you control over your own income. Must have the ability to self-manage independently and meet all of our requirements and standards.
Qualification:
- Current Colorado Nursing license
- Valid Driver’s license, clean MVR, and proof of auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check
- Malpractice insurance, Workers' Comp insurance or waiver
- Able to manage and pay own taxes
Responsibilities and Duties include:
- Case manages clients assigned - Makes all nursing home visits for the client and provides care approved by us and ordered by the physician.
- Assesses patients’ needs, reports findings to physician, obtains orders for new needs, and implements the care plan.
- Completes required documentation daily that makes evident patient/family needs, interventions, and progress in accordance with clinical, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Assures that all documentation is available in the electronic record within the daily deadline.
