Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in providing support and implementing behavior intervention plans for individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. Your work will directly impact the lives of clients by promoting positive behavioral changes and enhancing their quality of life. This position requires a commitment to patient care, adherence to HIPAA regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Educate clients and their families about behavioral therapy techniques and strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Collect session data to monitor client progress and effectiveness of interventions.
- Assist in the development of care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support for clients.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in therapeutic activities designed to improve social skills, communication, and daily living skills.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required. We can support attaining this certification.
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
- Early childhood education training and experience.
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and practices.
- Knowledge of medical records management and documentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate clients and families effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in patient care.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
