We are currently seeking a Residential HVAC Technician to join our team in Charlottesville, VA. If you enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting systems, and helping homeowners stay comfortable year-round, we want to hear from you.
Pay Range: $22-$45/ per hour

As a Residential HVAC Technician, you will install, maintain, and service heating and cooling systems while delivering excellent customer experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
-
Install and maintain residential HVAC systems including hydronic, steam, forced hot air, and heat pump systems

Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently and accurately
-
Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
-
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
-
Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism
-
1 to 5 years of HVAC service or installation experience, or equivalent training and education
-
Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills
-
EPA or CFC Certification required

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and documentation skills

Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background checks as required

Strong problem-solving skills with a systematic approach

Commitment to safety and proper tool use

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to adapt and remain professional in a fast-paced environment

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in residential settings
This is a hands-on, active role that includes:

Working in indoor and outdoor residential environments with varying weather conditions

Frequent standing, climbing, bending, and lifting
-
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Occasional driving between service locations

Exposure to common construction materials and HVAC equipment
