Utilizing engaging stories and characters from the Kidini Karate universe, our program educates children on awareness and self-defense techniques, focusing on how to safely navigate encounters with bullies or potential predators.
**Job Description:**
We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Kidini Karate Instructors. The ideal candidates will possess a strong ability to connect with young children and create a positive and safe learning environment. Instructors will be responsible for teaching the Kidini Karate curriculum, which combines storytelling, interactive activities, and practical self-defense moves.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons on bullying prevention and child safety using Kidini Karate characters and stories.
- Teach children effective awareness strategies and escape techniques to handle bullying or predator encounters.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging classroom atmosphere that promotes confidence and self-esteem.
- Collaborate with early learning centers, churches, and schools to schedule and conduct classes.
- Provide feedback and support to children and parents regarding progress and safety education.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, ensuring all equipment and materials are suitable for young learners.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in child safety education and martial arts instruction.
**Qualifications:**
- Experience working with young children (ages 3-10) in a classroom or educational setting.
- Background in martial arts, child development, education, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate children.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for child safety and empowerment.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus.
- Ability to pass background checks and maintain a safe environment for children.
