About Us
ServerPartDeals is one of the leading U.S. resellers of enterprise storage and server hardware — drives, servers, memory, and networking — selling through our own storefront and every major marketplace.
About the Role
You'll report directly to the manager who leads our digital, development, and marketing functions, and operate as their delivery lead. We have a capable remote development team and a deep project roadmap; what we're missing is a senior, in-person lead who can take an idea from a whiteboard conversation, translate it into scoped work, lead our remote development team through delivery, and build hands-on where it matters most. This is a hybrid role: roughly half hands-on building, half leading and reviewing the remote team's output — you own outcomes, not just tickets. High autonomy, direct access, zero bureaucracy.
What We're Looking For
- 5–8+ years building real software, including experience leading or coordinating other engineers/contractors. Pragmatic full-stack background — we run React, Node/Python, and SQL.
- AI-native workflow — non-negotiable. You use LLM tooling daily as a force multiplier and direct it with senior judgment. You'll build something live with AI tools during the interview.
- Team leadership & delivery ownership. Comfortable scoping, reviewing, and driving a remote dev team to shipped — not just closing your own tickets.
- On-site in Sanford, FL, five days a week.
Nice to Have
E-commerce or marketplace experience · data pipelines · LLM API work (Anthropic / OpenAI) · prior small-company or startup environment where you wore multiple hats.
Why This Role
Greenfield ownership of a production AI stack, a seat next to leadership rather than five layers below it, and work that ships to a real eight-figure business the same week you build it. No ticket queues, no committee reviews — your output is visible to the whole company.

Application Question(s):
- A teammate spends hours every week manually inputting prices into eBay. You're asked to fix it. Walk me through your first two weeks. What ships first, and what do you deliberately not build yet?
