Process Group Chemist

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Process Group Chemist to support manufacturing operations in a regulated laboratory environment. This role involves product formulation, quality control, process improvement, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform product formulation, quality control testing, and laboratory manufacturing activities.
- Prepare solutions, reagents, and laboratory materials.
- Review batch records, work orders, and manufacturing documentation for accuracy.
- Support product transfers, validations, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with GMP, ISO, SOPs, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and R&D teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support production schedules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with protein purification and/or antibody conjugation is required.
- Experience with laboratory techniques such as ELISA, assay development, and solution preparation.
- Laboratory or regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience in biotechnology, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or medical device manufacturing.
- Knowledge of GMP, QSR, ISO standards, and manufacturing documentation.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Laboratory-based environment working with chemicals and biological materials.
- Must follow all laboratory safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and stand or sit for extended periods while operating laboratory equipment.
