Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. Duties
- Safely operate dump trucks.
- Load and unload materials such as gravel, debris, or other materials.
- Drive assigned routes efficiently, adhering to schedules and optimizing delivery times
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other operational data
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery status or route changes.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating dump trucks, including manual or automatic transmission experience if applicable
- Proven truck driving experience, especially with dump truck and construction materials transportation
- Knowledge of route planning and navigation tools for efficient route driving
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy vehicle operation and freight handling
- Physical ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and handle heavy loads as required
