Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest infestations, and implementing effective pest control solutions. This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations
- Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation
- Develop and implement customized pest control plans based on the specific needs of each property
- Use a variety of tools and techniques to eliminate pests, including power tools, hand tools, and pesticides
- Install pest control measures such as traps, baits, and barriers to prevent future infestations
- Educate customers on proper sanitation practices and other preventive measures to minimize pest activity
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of common pests, their behavior, and effective treatment methods
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform the job duties, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions
-Ability to work outside in varying temperatures, tight spaces and elevated heights
-Ability to lift backpack equipment up to 50lbs
-Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle report and drug screening
