We’re seeking a part-time social media intern to work Friday's and Saturday's mandatory to start. Must be motivated and energetic Social Media Intern with experience in the media platform to join our team. In this paid internship, you will gain hands-on experience in managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and analyzing digital campaigns. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in branding, graphic design, and digital marketing strategies while contributing to exciting projects that elevate our online presence.
Duties
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies across various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TicTock.
- Create compelling content including graphics, videos, and written posts that align with brand voice and marketing goals.
- Manage daily social media activities.
- Conduct social listening to track brand mentions, industry trends, and competitor activity to inform content planning.
- Support in executing advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook Advertising to boost reach and engagement.
- Analyze web analytics and social media metrics using tools like Google Analytics to measure campaign performance and optimize strategies.
- Collaborate with the team on branding initiatives, photography projects, and proofreading content for accuracy and consistency.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
- Strong understanding of social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop and Illustrator for graphic design purposes.
- Basic knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization), web analytics, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
- Experience with video editing software and photography is a plus.
- Excellent written communication skills with an eye for proofreading and detail-oriented content creation.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
