Job Title: Purchaser
Reports To: SVP of Construction
Location: Sperber Construction - Thonotassa, FL
Position Summary
The Purchaser is responsible for procuring materials, equipment, and supplies to support branch operations. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing, accurate inventory, and timely delivery to job sites.
Key Responsibilities

Create purchase orders and process material requests.

Source and evaluate vendors for pricing and availability.

Track and confirm deliveries and backorders.

Maintain purchasing records and documentation.

Coordinate with project teams to meet job site timelines.

Assist with inventory control and cost reporting.

Build and maintain vendor relationships.
Qualifications
-
2–4 years of purchasing or procurement experience.

Knowledge of landscape/construction materials highly preferred.

Strong negotiation and organizational skills.

Proficiency in ERP or purchasing software.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
