GROUNDS MAINTENANCE POSITION, . DABCO Property Management has openings for one full-time grounds maintenance workers. Hours are generally 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday. Some weekends may be required as needed. Duties include snow and ice removal, mowing and edging lawns, trimming shrubs, cleaning sidewalks and breezeways, power washing buildings, picking up trash and debris, moving furniture, and other duties as assigned. Grounds maintenance personnel work as a team on a pre-determined weekly schedule to ensure all work is completed efficiently and in a timely manner. To do the work required, prospective employees must be physically fit and use good judgment; must be able to climb stairs, climb hillsides, walk and work on uneven surfaces, lift 50 pounds, and operate manual and powered hand tools and small machinery. Transportation around the properties is provided, but employees must have a reliable vehicle or other means of getting to and from work. Employees are required to wear and use safety equipment (provided by employer); clothing appropriate for weather, safety and duties must be provided by employee. All DABCO employees are subject to random drug testing and drug testing with cause; drug/alcohol use on the job and being at the work sites while intoxicated are not tolerated.
The position must be filled as soon as possible and will remain open until filled.
