Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences in a casual dining environment. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Develop and implement effective budgeting strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining quality service.
- Oversee cash handling procedures to ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff to foster a positive work environment and enhance team performance.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to minimize waste.
- Plan and coordinate special events or banquets to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Monitor customer feedback and make necessary adjustments to improve overall dining experiences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management within a casual dining setting is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling practices, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures with a keen eye for detail in financial reporting.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and cost control measures in the restaurant industry is advantageous.
