Seeking a professional, personable and energetic massage therapist to join our team and provide quality care in a clinic setting. Our beautiful office is located in historic Hyde Park, just minutes from downtown Tampa.
The right candidate for this position will have a passion for healing through the use of massage therapy and have a background in managing a variety of soft tissue conditions utilizing the most effective techniques.
Our chiropractors treat a wide variety of conditions with patients of all ages and lifestyles. From elite athletes to desk jockeys, we provide chiropractic manipulation, active release techniques, graston, dry needling, spinal decompression and corrective exercise. Work alongside our DCs, to co-manage neuromusculoskelatal conditions and provide individualized therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clients with important health information regarding improving their health.
- Assess patients' condition based on medical history and design specific sessions based on patients’ individual needs.
- Educate clients about the benefits of massage therapy.
- Perform quality massage therapy sessions.
- Promote the health and wellness benefits of patients’ receiving regularly scheduled chiropractic and massage therapy.
- Create excellent experience for patients through friendly and helpful attitude.
- Generate new patient referrals through promoting chiropractic and massage.
- Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas.
- Abides by HIPAA laws regarding of sharing of personal medical information
- Maintain clinical documentation of therapies performed and provided.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Proficient in patient assessment and providing exceptional patient service
- Skilled in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
- Experience in customer service and occupational health
- Familiarity with clinical environments and practices
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
