Description

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a night shift weekend contract requiring 1 year of recent GE MRI experience and ARRT certification.

Details

Performs routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients of all ages
10-hour night shifts on weekends only
Every weekend schedule with 20 hours guaranteed per week

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of recent GE MRI experience required
ARRT certification required (AMRIT certification will not be accepted)
BLS required
License required if applicable

Additional Information

Performs all MRI studies including administration of contrast media using age-appropriate technical and positioning protocols
Assists radiologist with MR procedures as requested
Evaluates MRI images for technical quality and performs equipment warm-up, calibration, and safety checks
Adheres to MRI safety standards and maintains ARRT standards of practice
No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this contract
