Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Houston, TX (In-Office)
Travel: Required as needed (tradeshows, customer visits, events)
Position Overview
We are seeking a technically minded Marketing Manager with strong engineering aptitude to lead our marketing efforts and ensure consistent, professional representation of our brand across all platforms. The ideal candidate has experience in engineering environments (civil or mechanical preferred), is proficient with SolidWorks drafting, and can bridge the gap between technical content and compelling marketing.This role is based in our Houston office and requires periodic travel for tradeshows, events, and customer-facing activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Asset Management & Creation
- Update and maintain technical marketing materials, including product drawings, brochures, cut sheets, and presentations.
- Use SolidWorks (or similar CAD tools) to revise or update product drawings and integrate them into marketing collateral.
- Ensure all marketing assets are accurate, up to date, and aligned with current product specifications and engineering standards.
2. Brand & Narrative Alignment
- Align the company’s narrative, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms, including website, LinkedIn, print media, advertisements, and sales materials.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, sales, operations) to ensure marketing content reflects current capabilities, projects, and company direction.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
3. Digital Marketing Coordination
- Work hand-in-hand with external SEO and media agencies to plan, execute, and optimize online campaigns.
- Support content development for the website, social media, email campaigns, and paid ads, ensuring technical accuracy and marketing impact.
- Track and report on digital marketing metrics (traffic, engagement, leads) and recommend improvements.
4. Tradeshow & Event Management
- Plan, compile, and coordinate all tradeshow assets, including booth layouts, displays, product samples, brochures, and promotional items.
- Manage event logistics (registration, shipping, schedules, travel arrangements) and serve as the primary point of contact before, during, and after tradeshows.
- Develop event-specific promotions, campaigns, and follow-up strategies to maximize lead generation and ROI.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to translate technical features into clear value propositions for customers.
- Partner with sales to develop tools and materials that support business development and customer presentations.
- Provide feedback from the market and events to internal teams to inform product development and strategic decisions.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Engineering mindset with the ability to understand and clearly communicate technical concepts (civil or mechanical engineering experience strongly preferred).
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software sufficient to update and modify drawings used in marketing materials.
- 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or technical environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing marketing assets and ensuring consistent messaging across web, social media, and print.
- Experience coordinating with SEO, digital media, or marketing agencies.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel for tradeshows, customer visits, and industry events.
- Must be based in Houston, TX, and able to work on-site full time.
Preferred:
- Background or degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience planning and executing tradeshows or industry events.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp).
- Knowledge of B2B industrial/engineering markets.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
