Purpose:
- To assist participants with maintaining housing resources; and promoting independent living.
Supervision Received:
- Receives direct supervision from Housing Resource Manager.
Qualifications:
- B.A/B.S degree in Human Services/Social Sciences, Healthcare or a related field preferred, 3-4 years of experience in the MH/MR or related field, or any combination of experience, education or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill, and ability required.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Detail oriented and very strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Excel.
- Must be available for local travel and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving
record (preferred).
Scope:
- Local travel required, including transporting program participants.
- Frequent talking and listening.
- Light lifting and/or carrying, not to exceed 25 lbs.
- Requires walking, climbing, bending, stooping, or kneeling associated with all building inspections and acquisitions.
- May require crisis intervention in emergency situations. May be required to report to work during emergencies, including inclement weather.
