Job Description
We are seeking professional, safety-minded CDL Class A and Class B Drivers for full-time employment at our retail yard in Windham, NH. In this role, you will safely deliver building materials directly to customer job sites and homes. You will operate specialized equipment to deliver materials cleanly and interact directly with our client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe Transport: Safely haul and deliver lumber and building supplies to residential homes and commercial job sites.
- Material Unloading: Unload products efficiently and free of damage to both the materials and the jobsite using a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett).
- Pre-Trip Inspections: Complete thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and DOT compliance.
- Smart Routing: Map out and execute the most efficient travel routes to maintain timely delivery schedules.
- Customer Care: Maintain phone contact with contractors and homeowners before and during deliveries to ensure seamless drop-off coordination.
- Team Collaboration: Act as a flexible team player in a fast-paced retail yard environment, stepping up to work overtime when needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license.
- Current, valid DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record with no recent major violations.
- Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift is highly preferred (on-the-job refresher training can be provided).
- Strong communication skills and a reliable, punctual work ethic.
- Ability to handle the fast-paced physical nature of a busy building supply yard.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
