SE Independent Delivery is seeking professional CDL Class A Independent Contractors to provide linehaul transportation services for a premier national furniture retailer.
As an Independent Contractor, you'll operate your own business while providing linehaul transportation services using your own qualifying Class A tractor. This opportunity involves transporting double pup trailers between designated terminal and yard locations. Services include performing drop-and-hook trailer exchanges and changing trailer configurations as required.

Scope of Services:
- Transport double pup trailers between designated terminal and yard locations
- Perform drop-and-hook trailer exchanges
- Configure and reconfigure trailer combinations as required
- Safely transport freight between assigned locations
- Use the company's transportation application to manage trip information
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and company representatives
- Operate in compliance with all DOT regulations and safety requirements
Job Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- 1 year of verifiable CDL Class A driving experience or completion of 80 hours of certified CDL training
- Must own a qualifying Class A tractor that meets SE Independent Delivery and DOT requirements
- Doubles endorsement preferred (assistance available for qualified applicants)
- Successfully pass a background check
- Successfully complete a road test
- Meet all DOT drug screening and physical requirements
- No DUI/DWI within the past 5 years
- No more than 6 points on your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
