Role Summary
The Landscape Construction Project Manager oversees the full lifecycle of residential and commercial landscape installation projects — from pre‑construction planning through final walkthrough. This role manages schedules, budgets, subcontractors, materials, and field crews to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to Artisan’s quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong construction management experience, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of landscape installation methods and sequencing

Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple landscape construction projects from planning through completion
- Create and maintain project schedules, sequencing, and daily/weekly task plans
- Coordinate with clients, builders, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Oversee field crews to ensure work meets quality and safety standards
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and verify installation accuracy
- Review plans, specifications, and change orders; communicate updates to all stakeholders
- Track project budgets, labor hours, and material usage
- Approve and schedule material orders and deliveries with procurement team
- Ensure compliance with company standards, local codes, and project requirements
- Lead final walkthroughs and punch list completion
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in landscape construction management or related field
- Strong understanding of hardscape, softscape, grading, drainage, and irrigation installation
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, construction drawings, and specifications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities
- Proficiency with project management tools, spreadsheets, and job costing
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing crews in landscape or general construction
- Familiarity with Charleston‑area suppliers, subcontractors, and permitting
- Knowledge of plant material, soil conditions, and regional installation practices
- Understanding of hardscape, irrigation, drainage, and synthetic install processes
- Experience with takeoffs and material lists
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
