Full-Time Medical Receptionist
Altium Health is an integrated mental health and substance use treatment center located in West Jordan, Utah. We provide individualized, evidence-based care across a continuum of services, including therapy, psychiatric care and medication management, substance use treatment, ambulatory detox, IOP, PHP, TMS, and ketamine therapy. Altium Health is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and organized Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our mental health clinic. This position combines front desk, patient support, and new patient intake responsibilities and is an important part of creating a welcoming and organized experience for our patients.
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Environment: Medical & Mental Health Clinic
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer phones, direct calls, and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Serve as an initial point of contact for new patients
- Assist with new patient intake, including gathering demographic, insurance, and referral information
- Assist patients with intake paperwork and ensure required documentation is complete
- Enter and maintain accurate patient information in the electronic medical record
- Coordinate new patient appointments and communicate with clinical staff
- Assist with referrals, records, scanning, uploading, and other documentation
- Maintain an organized front desk and support daily clinic operations
- Provide general administrative support and assist other departments as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries at all times

- Ability to maintain professional boundaries with patients
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical record systems
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Preferred:
- Previous medical, behavioral health, intake, or front office experience
- Experience with scheduling or electronic medical records
- Healthcare customer service experience
- Interest in growing within healthcare or mental health services
