Job Title: Handyman/Property Maintenance Technician
Job Type: Full-time (32-48 hours per week)
Salary: $25-$28 per hour (depending on experience)
Employment Type: 1099
Responsibilities:
- Perform general property maintenance tasks, such as minor plumbing repairs, minor electrical work, drywall patching, painting, appliance troubleshooting, and general handyman items.
- Perform minimal property cleaning, including tidying up indoor and outdoor spaces as needed.
- Operate pressure-washing equipment to clean various surfaces effectively.
- Address maintenance needs for both occupied and unoccupied properties.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with tenants, property owners, and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen with a clean background check.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Reliable, dependable, honest, and hardworking with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and assignments.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Additional Information:
- All assigned jobs must be completed on the same day, with flexibility on when tasks are performed.
- A company truck, gas card, and tools will be provided for work-related tasks.
- A probationary period will apply, during which the selected candidate will shadow a technician to assess compatibility and performance.
