- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and occupational health concerns.
- Maintain detailed records of each session, including patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, addressing client questions, and fostering ongoing relationships.
- Stay current with industry trends and continue professional development to enhance skills and expand service offerings.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally.
- Proven experience in delivering various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
- Prior experience in med spa or occupational health settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately.
- Knowledge of pain management strategies and therapeutic modalities for diverse client conditions.
