About the Role
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. You'll create individualized treatment plans, provide engaging, evidence-based therapy, and collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to help every patient reach their fullest potential.
This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload while utilizing innovative treatment approaches and technology in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's strengths and needs.
- Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy for children and adults.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Accurately document evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, and care plans using our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, physicians, educators, and other therapists to coordinate care and maximize patient outcomes.
- Educate families on home programs and strategies to support continued progress.
- Maintain current knowledge of best practices and evidence-based interventions in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Eligible for or currently hold Idaho Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in pediatric therapy or early intervention is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Passion for helping patients and families achieve meaningful outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
