Summary: The Document Review Coordinator will work directly with customers purchasing new homes as an intermediary between borrowers, the sales team, and underwriting department to ensure a positive home buying experience
Responsibilities
- Regularly communicate with homebuyers
- Maintain ongoing communication with internal staff throughout the entire loan process
- Manage loan files, obtain/document customer information, and process mortgages in a timely fashion
- Set up loan files, order all exhibits (i.e., VOE's, VOD's credit report, etc.), and follow up on submitted/pending loans.
- Coordinate closing paperwork, ensure detailed completion of loan files prior to passing to the closing department
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience processing loans
- Working knowledge of real estate documentation, underwriting policies, compliance, and procedures, preferred
- Excellent customer service, and strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
