Job Description
This position is primarily office-based, with opportunities to work directly alongside agency leadership in the field prospecting local businesses and developing client relationships.
Associate agents will initially learn through mentorship, training, and joint field work, including cold-calling local businesses and networking alongside the agency owner. As confidence and experience grow, agents will gradually begin conducting independent prospecting activities and managing their own pipeline.
This is an entrepreneurial opportunity for someone who is motivated, coachable, and excited about building a career with uncapped income potential.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities
- Primary focus on new client acquisition and insurance sales
- Build relationships with individuals, families, and business owners
- Conduct insurance reviews and provide coverage recommendations
- Quote and sell Property & Casualty and Life insurance products
- Develop referral and networking relationships
- Participate in office-based sales and training activities
- Accompany agency leadership on business prospecting visits and cold-calling activities
- Maintain follow-up and pipeline management activities
- Provide customer service and support to existing clients while learning agency operations
- Assist with policy reviews, account servicing, and client retention activities
- Deliver excellent client service and long-term relationship management
Qualifications
- Active Life Insurance and/or Property & Casualty License preferred
- Must be willing to obtain both licenses
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Comfortable networking and speaking with business owners
- Professional, coachable, and growth-oriented
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
Compensation & Bonuses
- Uncapped Commission Based Compensation
- Tiered commission structure based on cumulative production
- Renewal commissions creating long-term residual income
- Performance threshold bonuses
- First-year income potential of $45,000–$60,000+
- Years 2+ income potential of six figures

Licensing & Sign-On Bonuses
- $2,500 sign-on bonus upon meeting initial onboarding requirements
- Additional $2,500 bonus once both required licenses are obtained
- Agency reimbursement for approved licensing and training program costs
Candidates may start with either:
- A Life Insurance License, or
- A Property & Casualty License
However, candidates must be willing to obtain both licenses as part of their career development with the agency.
