Job Description
Provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. Answer incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties. Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
-Take and relay messages
-Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
-Provide general administrative and clerical support
-Prepare correspondence and documents
-Receive and sort mail and deliveries
-Filing, copying, scanning
-Book travel reservations, negotiate competitive rates
-Arrange travel and maintain schedule electronically
-Organize conference and meeting room bookings
-Coordinate meetings and organize catering
-Control inventory relevant to office supplies
-Tidy and maintain the reception area and break room
Education and Experience
-High school diploma generally required
-Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
-Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
