Join our team, PJJ Enterprise Corp., and begin your career as a Fedex Delivery Driver today! We are seeking dependable and professional drivers . NO CDL required. This role involves delivering packages efficiently and safely to customers while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with route driving, heavy lifting, and operating commercial vehicles such as step-van or box trucks. A strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction is essential for success in this position. Safety training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Maintain appropriate communication with management
- Operate commercial vehicle safely at all times and on all types of roads
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Load vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery and pickup of parcels to and from residential and commercial customers using provided iPad and routing application
- Utilizing provided scanner to verify and document delivery addresses accurately and obtain signatures when required
- Helping co-workers with deliveries/pickups when needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions or concerns professionally
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 yrs old with Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory
- Pass FedEx background check, drug screen, and DOT physical
- Perform physical tasks such as moving and loading items including the ability to lift heavy packages up to 150lb repeatedly throughout the day (hand-truck provided)
- Be able to climb stairs and able to work in all types of weather and conditions
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Be on time and ready to work each day
- Available to work up to 6 days a week.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Ability to navigate routes efficiently using GPS or route planning tools
- Excellent driving skills with knowledge of traffic laws and safety procedures
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $130.00 per day
