Job Title: Press Set Up and Operator
1st Shift Monday- Friday 6:30am-2:30pm, with overtime as needed.
SUMMARY
The major function(s) of a Press Set Up and Operator associate is to continually produce a quality product maximizing all equipment run time by effectively utilizing all appropriate resources including equipment, tooling, systems, and procedures. Additionally, the Manufacturing Operator associate is required to continually practice safety in all work performed, insure efficiency and accuracy in performing all required tasks, assist Set-Up associates during equipment set-ups when requested, and act as a continual support, trainer, and resource to any new Manufacturing Operators.
The position is on 1st shift, Monday- Friday 6:30am-3:00pm. Overtime may be required daily or on Saturday.
Qualified applicants should have experience in manufacturing as well as experience and knowledge of general manufacturing principles.
Applicant should have the following qualities:
2 Years experience in setting up, troubleshooting and operating manufacturing equipment
Blue print reading knowledge
Experience using a variety of quality measuring instruments
Experience in setting up Progressive Presses (mechanical and hydraulic) and automatic multi station equipment is preferred
Ability to work safely and responsibly.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Good and solid work history.
General mechanical aptitude and understanding.
HS Diploma/ GED required
Ability to pass criminal background testing
Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing.
