Pay: $38.00 - $65.00per hour PLUS Prevailing Wage work at $86.05+/hour
Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday
On-Call Rotation
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Licensed REQUIRED: Journeyman Refrigeration 1 or 2 in Rhode Island OR Master 1 or 2 Refrigeration in RI, Pipefitter licenses are acceptable
- 1-5 years performing service, troubleshooting, and maintenance on HVAC equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of technical training or certification in HVAC services preferred.
- Proven experience as a service or installation technician in HVAC services with a successful track record.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting techniques, and repair methods.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on HVAC systems to accurately identify issues, malfunctions, or potential problems.
- Utilize advanced testing equipment and technical expertise to efficiently pinpoint complex problems.
- Collaborate with other departments as needed to install new equipment.
- Perform skilled and complex repairs or maintenance on HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Recommend appropriate solutions to optimize system performance and reliability.
