Position Overview
The Hospitality Manager is responsible for leading daily shift operations and ensuring exceptional execution of hospitality, service standards, and team performance.
This role serves as the on-shift leader, creating an environment where guests feel welcomed, team members feel supported, and operations run efficiently. The Hospitality Manager leads from the floor, coaches in real time, and helps ensure HMBC standards are consistently upheld throughout every shift.
The Hospitality Manager is responsible for maintaining strong communication, supporting operational execution, resolving challenges, and creating memorable guest experiences while fostering a positive and accountable team culture.
This is an hourly leadership position focused on shift execution, guest experience, and team support.

The Hospitality Manager is responsible for protecting and elevating the guest experience during every shift.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a visible and active presence on the floor
- Ensuring consistent execution of HMBC hospitality standards
- Supporting and reinforcing Steps of Service execution
- Resolving guest concerns quickly and professionally
- Assisting team members in delivering exceptional hospitality
- Identifying opportunities to create memorable guest experiences

2. Team Leadership & Accountability
The Hospitality Manager is responsible for supporting team performance and maintaining accountability throughout each shift.
Responsibilities include:

3. Shift Operations & Execution
The Hospitality Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth and effective execution of daily operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading opening, mid-shift, and closing operations as assigned
- Monitoring service flow and operational efficiency
- Ensuring proper execution of opening and closing procedures
- Supporting labor deployment decisions during shifts
- Maintaining awareness of guest flow and business volume
- Identifying and addressing operational challenges proactively
- Ensuring side work and shift responsibilities are completed
- Supporting effective communication between departments

4. Cleanliness & Facility Standards
The Hospitality Manager is responsible for maintaining HMBC standards for cleanliness, organization, and presentation during each shift.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting ongoing walkthroughs of guest-facing and operational areas
- Addressing cleanliness concerns immediately
- Ensuring team members maintain clean and organized work areas
- Verifying tasks are completed via the Jolt Checklist
- Supporting facility standards and maintenance reporting
- Monitoring restrooms, dining areas, patios, bar areas, and common spaces
- Reinforcing the connection between cleanliness and guest perception

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
The Hospitality Manager plays a key role in maintaining communication and teamwork between operational areas.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting communication between FOH, BOH, Events, Catering, and Brewery Operations
- Collaborating with leadership and team members to resolve operational challenges
- Assisting with execution of company initiatives during shifts
- Maintaining professionalism and consistency across departments
- Helping create a culture of teamwork and shared accountability

Pay: $48,933.18 - $55,338.88 per year
