As our Materials Manager, you won't just be managing inventory—you will be the architect of a scaling supply chain. At Austin Cutlery & Tool, we are looking for a systems-driven leader to bridge the gap between procurement strategy and global fulfillment. You will oversee a complex, multi-channel network—including Amazon FBA, DTC, and wholesale—driving the digital transformation of our operations through SAP S/4HANA and advanced analytics.
If you are a high-performing leader who thrives on turning supply chain disruptions into competitive advantages, we want to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing team responsible for end-to-end raw material and finished goods availability.
- Omnichannel Excellence: Execute replenishment strategies across all channels, with a specific focus on optimizing the Amazon FBA inventory lifecycle (pre-positioning, compliance, and performance metrics).
- S&OP Ownership: Lead the Sales & Operations Planning process, ensuring perfect alignment between demand forecasts and supply realities.
- Systems Innovation: Act as the internal champion for SAP S/4HANA, leveraging SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI to create resilient, scenario-based planning models.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify supply chain bottlenecks and implement robust contingency plans to ensure operational continuity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and eCommerce to synchronize inventory with high-impact product launches and seasonal surges.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain/Operations is a significant plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of manufacturing required; supply chain ideally within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or high-volume distribution strongly preferred.
- Certifications: APICS (ASCM) CPIM or CSCP strongly preferred.
- Amazon Expertise: Proven track record of managing Amazon Seller Central and FBA operations at scale.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred) and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
- The "Soft" Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity during periods of rapid digital transformation.
