Job Summary

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision
- Upsell menu items including specialty drinks and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- Support beverage service with knowledge of wine pairings, spirits, cocktail recipes, and drink garnishes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service flow in a casual setting
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS for order entry and sales processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
- Ability to bend, lift and carry excess of 20 pounds
- Ability to clean and sanitize work environments after shifts
