What You’ll Do:
- Deliver 1:1 nursing care to students throughout the school day
- Manage medication administration, health monitoring, and daily medical support
- Support development and implementation of care plans, including IEPs and individualized health protocols
- Respond to student health needs and emergencies, ensuring safety and well-being
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to create a supportive school environment
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to school health practices
Requirements:
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Capable of supporting students in classrooms (standing, walking, light lifting)
- TB test as required
- Willingness to complete all school-related clearances
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in schools, pediatrics, special education, or behavioral health
- Familiarity with school health plans or IEPs
- Knowledge of G-Tube care, trach care, or seizure management
- Holds CPR/BLS certification
