Summary:
Quality Analyst is responsible for dealing with the three major phases of Quality Management - Quality Planning/Prevention, Corrective Action, and Continual Improvement and works with a team to achieve all quality KPIs.
Detailed Description:
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Support the implementation, interpretation, and revision of the site Quality Management System.
- Partner with cell Quality Engineers (QEs) to analyze root causes, execute corrective/preventive actions, and manage Corrective Action Responses (CAR).
- Help formulate, monitor, and execute Quality Improvement Plans (QIP).
- Perform internal audits on products and processes, generate official reports, and issue internal CARs.
- Track progress on improvement actions and audits across processes, systems, products, and suppliers (covering safety, compliance, and ISO industry standards).
- Create documentation for internal quality system procedures, workmanship standards, and work instructions.
- Evaluate, track, and report on internal factory and external customer quality KPIs.
- Promote continuous improvement efforts that deliver value to CLS, customers, and suppliers.
- Advance product expertise and quality capabilities via designated training initiatives.
- Fulfill assignments directed by leadership and contribute to the deployment of quality strategies.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
- Proficiency in quality tools, AS/ISO and IPC standards, and the implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Familiarity with manufacturing operations and core quality methodologies, including FMEA, SPC, and 8D techniques
- Solid grasp of continuous improvement frameworks, specifically Lean Kaizen and Six Sigma
- Experience executing internal audits for both processes and products, with lead auditor certification considered a plus
- Competence in leveraging software applications to capture data, analyze trends, and build clear reports
- Strategic understanding of the business unit, including how operational choices impact profitability, product quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction
- Strong communication skills to interact constructively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
Physical Demands:
- Repetitive manual movements (e.g., keyboarding)
- Sustained visual concentration on small areas, such as monitors, screens
- Sustained visual concentration on numbers, legal documents
- The job works in a normal office environment with no undue exposure to noise, odors, dust, drafts, etc.
Typical Experience:
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
Typical Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
