Overview
Our Group Home is a residential program serving adolescent girls in the Charlotte, NC area. We provide a structured, supportive, and nurturing environment focused on emotional growth, stability, and life-skills development.
We are currently hiring Qualified Professionals (QP), Associate Professionals (AP), and Direct Care Professionals who are compassionate, dependable, and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of youth.
Available Shifts
Monday–Thursday
- 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Overnight)
Friday
- 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM (Saturday)
Saturday
- 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM (Sunday)
Sunday
- 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Monday)
Applicants should have availability that aligns with the shift(s) they are applying for. Evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday availability is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support residents during assigned shifts.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive living environment.
- Assist residents with daily routines, hygiene, meals, recreation, and life-skills development.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior support strategies.
- Use approved de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques.
- Transport residents to school, appointments, community activities, and other approved outings.
- Complete required documentation, progress notes, medication documentation (when applicable), and incident reports.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, clinical staff, and other team members.
- Ensure compliance with NC DHHS regulations and program policies.
Position Requirements Qualified Professional (QP)
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services and at least 2 years of relevant experience
OR
- Bachelor's degree in a non-human services field and at least 4 years of relevant experience
Experience working with youth, behavioral health, residential services, or at-risk populations is preferred.
Associate Professional (AP)
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services
OR
- Bachelor's degree in a non-human services field and at least 2 years of relevant experience
Experience working with youth or behavioral health is preferred.
Direct Care Professional
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred:
- Experience in childcare, youth services, behavioral health, mental health, or residential care.
Requirements for All Positions
- Must be at least 21 years old (if required by your program)
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to remain calm during crisis situations
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Willingness to work evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
