We are seeking a meticulous Title Examiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in review land records and legal documents to determine ownership and encumbrances of title to real estate and provide superior support to ensure efficient operations.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze real estate title documents for accuracy and completeness
- Identify any issues or discrepancies that may affect the title's validity
- Review land surveys
- Collaborate with underwriters, banks, and other stakeholders to resolve title-related matters
- Conduct precise, thorough research on property records and legal documents
- Prepare title insurance commitments and policies
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of title insurance examination and documentation
- Familiarity with fair housing regulations and credit analysis
