About Center Cut Landscaping
Center Cut Landscaping is a leading commercial landscaping contractor serving Southern Nevada. With over 200 employees and continued growth across multiple divisions, we are seeking an experienced Bilingual Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department and help build the systems, processes, and culture necessary to support our next phase of growth.
Position Summary
The Bilingual Human Resources Manager will oversee all aspects of Human Resources for a workforce of more than 200 employees. This position is responsible for employee relations, compliance, recruiting, benefits administration, training and development, and HR operations while managing two HR team members.
This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for someone who can evaluate existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, implement solutions, and help build a scalable HR function for a growing organization.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and confident handling complex employee matters with professionalism and sound judgment.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Leadership & Operations
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team.
- Build structure, accountability, and operational excellence within the HR department.
- Develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide reporting and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Serve as the primary resource for employee relations matters.
- Conduct investigations involving employee complaints, policy violations, workplace conflicts, and performance concerns.
- Advise managers on coaching, corrective action, documentation, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Oversee I-9 compliance, audits, employee handbook updates, and HR documentation.
Recruiting, Training & Development
- Oversee recruiting efforts for field and office positions.
- Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Improve onboarding, retention, and workforce development programs.
- Train managers on employee relations, documentation, investigations, and performance management.
- Support employee engagement and leadership development initiatives.
Benefits & Safety Oversight
- Oversee employee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, COBRA, and open enrollment.
- Monitor workers' compensation claims and return-to-work processes.
- Provide interim oversight of company safety initiatives until a dedicated Safety Coordinator is hired.
- Partner with Operations to promote a culture of safety and accountability.
Qualifications
Required
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Minimum 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Minimum 3 years of HR leadership or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, investigations, and HR compliance.
- Experience handling sensitive employee matters and conducting workplace investigations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience in construction, landscaping, field services, manufacturing, transportation, or other operations-focused industries.
- Experience with OSHA compliance, safety programs, and workers' compensation management.
