A global food and beverage ingredient manufacturer's Carrollton, TX production site is hiring a Documentation and Training Specialist.
This is a 3-month contract-to-hire position paying $35/hour, W-2 with benefits, day shift with occasional flexibility to support 2nd or 3rd shift.
What you'll do:
- build and own a site-wide training matrix covering onboarding, job-specific training, annual refreshers, EHS training, and food and product safety training.
- Track completion, chase down catch-up training after absences, and build a way to measure whether training actually works.
- Map every production process to find where SOPs are missing or out of date, then write and revise them with area leadership and QA.
- Sit on the internal audit team and the GMP team, keeping documentation audit-ready at all times.
- Partner daily with department leads and give feedback that holds people accountable without needing formal authority over them.
What we're looking for:
- experience in a manufacturing, production, quality, or EHS environment.
- Comfortable with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, not required.
- Spanish language skills a plus, but not required.
- Strong public speaking and group facilitation skills.
