JOB SUMMARY
Main Responsibilities
- Review shipping instructions and export documentation.
- Validate invoices, packing lists, SLI, MAWB, HAWB, and other required documents.
- Monitor cut-off times, cargo acceptance, flight departures, and shipment status.
- Prepare and send pre-alerts and operational updates.
- Identify documentation discrepancies and request corrections.
- Update shipment records in the operating system.
- Support AES/EEI filing and export compliance requirements.
- Follow up with customers, airlines, carriers, agents, and internal teams.
- Report delays, exceptions, damages, and operational issues.
- Support urgent, AOG, COMAT, and special cargo shipments when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in export operations, freight forwarding, or international logistics.
- Knowledge of air export processes and shipping documentation.
- Familiarity with Incoterms, AES/EEI, and export compliance.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and freight forwarding systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CargoWise.
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations, AOG, aerospace, or time-critical shipments.
This position requires on-site work
Languages: Professional proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in foreign Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
- Analytical skills to identify and resolve operational issues efficiently
Schedule:
- Worked days: Monday to Friday (full-time)
- Daily hours: 09:00 am to 5:30 pm
- Lunch break: 30 minutes
- In-person work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
