Detail Cabinet is hiring a Kitchen & Bath Sales Designer / Showroom Consultant for our Alpharetta showroom.
This role is for someone who can help homeowners with kitchen, bathroom, and closet remodeling projects from the first conversation to design, proposal, follow-up, and sale. The right candidate should be professional, organized, confident with customers, and comfortable with both design and sales.
This is not just a design role. You must be comfortable talking to customers, following up with leads, discussing budgets, preparing proposals, and helping move projects toward a signed agreement.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist showroom visitors
- Speak with customers by phone, text, email, and in person
- Follow up with leads and help schedule consultations
- Help customers choose cabinets, countertops, hardware, finishes, and design options
- Create kitchen, bathroom, and closet layouts using design software
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and project information
- Coordinate with the showroom team, installers, and management
- Keep customer notes and project details organized
- Maintain a clean, professional showroom experience
- Help convert qualified leads into signed projects
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with sales, follow-up, and discussing project budgets
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work professionally with homeowners
- Kitchen, bath, cabinet, remodeling, flooring, countertop, or interior design experience preferred
- Experience with ProKitchen, 2020 Design, Chief Architect, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar software preferred
- Must be comfortable working Saturdays
- Must be able to work in person at our Alpharetta showroom
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has experience in one or more of the following:
- Kitchen and bath design
- Cabinet sales
- Remodeling sales
- Countertops, flooring, tile, closets, or home improvement sales
- Interior design with customer-facing experience
- Showroom sales
We are looking for someone who can combine design taste with sales discipline. A strong candidate should be able to ask good questions, understand customer needs, follow up consistently, and help close projects.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday to Saturday availability required
- Exact weekly schedule to be discussed during interview
Pay
- $22 - $25 per hour starting pay, depending on experience
- Commission / performance bonus after training
- Opportunity for pay increases based on performance, sales results, reliability, and design ability
