In this energetic position, you will be responsible for ensuring all manufacturing and processing areas meet strict sanitation standards, supporting food safety compliance, and contributing to the overall quality of our products. Your proactive approach to cleaning and sanitation will help us uphold the highest standards in food processing and manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, floors, drains, tools, and work surfaces using industrial cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct routine sanitation procedures to comply with food safety regulations and company standards
- Remove trash, waste, and debris from assigned areas.
- Report sanitation, safety, maintenance, or contamination concerns to management.
- Document sanitation activities, including cleaning schedules, inspections, and maintenance logs
- Follow food safety, GMP, and company safety requirements.
Requirements
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within manufacturing or food production environments preferred.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures specific to food processing or manufacturing facilities.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals used in industrial settings.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to follow written procedures, chemical labels, and safety instructions.
Work Environment
- Work is performed in a food processing plant and may include wet floors, cold temperatures, cleaning chemicals, and production equipment. Required PPE and safety procedures must be followed.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
